A big congratulations to JJ and James! "We are all very excited about the growth of the business." Said an understandably enthusiastic JJ; "To have opened up in the hardest year for decades and have had such a great time on Great Newport St, we hope that the support we recieved in 2009 continues in to 2010. All of our members will be contacted shortly on updates with the new development and invited down to the new restaurant for what will prove to be an incredible food and cocktail experience that our new business partners David Moore (www.pied-a-terre.co.uk), Sarah Willingham (www.claphamhouse.com), and of course Raymond Blanc (www.raymondblanc.com) are all extremely excited about. Competitions also seem to be going well at The London Cocktail Club. Resident rude boy Andy Milz has just picked up successive mixology wins for Beefeater 24, JC Platino (where LCC beat off major competition to place 3rd over all for best drinks experience against the likes of Dukes and the Blue bar) and 42 Below, where Andy hopes to fly to New Zealand and reclaim the gold medal cocktail world cup title that was won by our very own JJ Goodman in August of last year.

JJ too has been busy, he has just flown back in from Mexico after winning the Patron 2009 UK final competition where he displayed his new culinary skills, taking a twist on one of Raymond Blanc's very own signature dishes to mix up his 'Essence of Salsa Sangrita'. He is also exhibiting his new 'Chaos Theory' cocktail at the much talked about underground Tasting Sessions, taking place in early December (venue and dates are top secret but dig around and you might just get lucky).
