White Lady

  • 40ml Bombay Sapphire
  • 20ml Cointreau
  • 20ml Lemon Juice
  • 1 Teaspoon Caster Sugar
  • 1 Egg White

Shake all the ingredients together and strain into a Martini glass. Twist lemon oil over the top for a great flavour.

This cocktail was invented by Harry MacElhone in 1919 at Ciro’s Club, London. He originally used Creme de Menthe, but switched it with gin at Harry’s New York Bar, Paris in 1929.
